Bottle. Pours a beautiful dark gold color, crystal clear. Nose suggests hay, oak, bright apple flesh. Lots of interesting wood notes. Flavor starts slowly, subtly; nuanced tannins, pepper, and dry acidity are present. Good apple kick towards tail end, finishing bone dry with a horseblanket note. Very nice, just a touch more body through middle and this is the perfect dry cider.

auerbrau (3206) - Ithaca, New York, USA - NOV 7, 2010
500mL Bottle poured at CiderDays 2010. Oak comes out immediately in the nose and is enjoyable as slight bit of butter. Good apple complexity adds depth to this. Clearish gold. Flavors are apple-solid, but come on a with a good fist of oak dryness, which I think has been crafted to work with residual sugars and not too much apple tannin. Enjoyable.
