330 ml bottle, from Gulating Ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Deep golden colour, moderate to small white head. The grainy aroma has a hint of caramel malts, and some herbal hops, nothing to ignite your appetite. The flavour is dry and slightly woody, grainy notes, moderate hops. Boring, probably the most boring beer ever to come out of Ægir Bryggeri. I had no rakfisk (fermented trout) to go with the beer - for such a potent dish I would surely prefer a fruitier and better beer than this. Even the Wangensten version from the now defunct Atna Bryggeri was better than this version. lmojoh (870) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 23, 2017

Nonshaugen (622) - Fetsund, NORWAY - SEP 26, 2015
50 cl, bottle conditioned, brewed at Ægir Brewery. Dark golden, low carbonation, very thin tan head. Special beer "designed" to be enjoyed with "rakfisk", a traditional Norwegian gourmet fish meal. Aroma is very malty and a bit sweet, like an amber ale. Taste is nutty with a rich caramel and dark bread flavour. Medium, but pleasant, aftertaste. I have no idea what it would taste like along with the "rakfisk", but it’s enjoyable and drinkable as is. StilleStorm (1536) - Stavanger, NORWAY - SEP 18, 2015
