Cask at the Townhouse, Ely. Golden colour, clear with a tiny bit of white head but a surprising amount of lacing. Malty smell with a touch of fruit loaf and a resinous hint. Simple bitter taste with orange peel and a bit of clove. Long bitter finish. Its incredibly simple but I like the recipe.

Bottle at home, 04/03/17. Lightly hazed golden amber with a decent off White head. Nose is orange peel, toasted grains, straw, light bread notes. Taste comprises bitter orange, grass, grains, spice, bread, lemon drizzle. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, drying close with a bitter edge. Ok for style if a little harsh at times.

Grumbo (3099) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - OCT 5, 2016
Cask handpulled at The Bull in Devonshire Row, London. Pours golden with an initially large creamy white head, soon dissipating. Aroma is floral, hoppy, with touch of caramel and fruit. Initially bitterness much heavier than sweetness but the two combine nicely as pint was consumed. Body is quite light, texture sticky, carbonation average. Finish is lasting bittersweet and fruity. Quite decent light bitter.
