Gravity Cask Third of a Pint at GBBF 2011 (Day 5), Earl’s Court, London Aug 2011 -
Dark Brown, almost Black, in colour. Malty; roasty malts, lots of coffee, some liquorice and chocolate, caramel. Hoppy; earthy hops; some hop bitterness. Fruity; some dark fruit. Well balanced. Sweetish roast malty throughout leading to a dry roast malty finish. Very drinkable. (2011-08-06)

On tap @ Brassigaume. Deep dark brown/black colour with a nice thing off-white head. Roasted malts, dark chocolate and coffee in the aroma. Soft carbonation and full body. Taste is bitter with some roasted coffee and chocolate notes. Creamy! Overall, a very good beer. Beerhunter111 (22513) - P´Castle, GERMANY - OCT 18, 2015
Sehr dunkel braune Farbe, schöne bräunliche Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr röstmalzig, Schokolade. Geschmack sehr röstmalzig, Schokolade, kräftig hopfig. JohnandDenise (18) - Runcorn, Cheshire, ENGLAND - NOV 15, 2014
Popped into the Baltic Fleet for a quick one before the " James" concert and so glad I did. Lovely creamy stout with just the right amount of bitterness and a nice hint of chocolate in the taste. Good concert, but unfortunately had to get back to Lime Street pretty sharpish afterwards to catch the last train home, so didn’t have time for a refresher, but as Arnie says "I’ll be back". Hand-pulled pint in it’s home, The Baltic Fleet, Liverpool on 7th Feb 2014.
It looks like a Stout: black with an off-white foam on top.
It smells like a Stout: over roasted malts with coffee and chocolate hints.
Tastes like a Stout: Malty, coffee and chocolate again, slightly burnt overtone to the whole flavourings.
Medium bodied with a gentle feel, slips down well.

A lovely stout. Bitter in taste and silky smooth. A strong taste and tastes of burnt hops. Easy to drink and looks lovely and black. SarkyNorthener (4847) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - FEB 22, 2014

Dark ebony brown with tight foamy tan head. Subdued nose of red berry and chocolate malt. Full bodied with light carbonation, plenty of fruity red berry with burnt toast, astringent barley in finish. On the sweet side for a stout but enjoyable nonetheless
