Golden with a white head - some hints of malt aroma - tastes of some malt, but thisn - thin and boring

Foffern (2044) - Bodø, NORWAY - JAN 6, 2012
Can at home. Golden hay-coloured. Somewhat fruity malt in the nose. Sweet malt and grass in mouth, and feels crispy. Decent balance and medium bitterness. Not a bad light lager; they taste so much better on this side of Europe.

Can. Resinous, grainy texture and not much besides. Not as oily as some similar beers, I suppose that’s a plus.

Shared bottle @RBNAG-11. Clear pale golden. Low coarse big-bubbled head. Sweet and harsh grainy malt aroma. Medium to heavily sweet malt flavor. Noticable hop bitterness. Noticable alcohol- Sweet, harsh-ish malt ending. Ordinary Euro-lager.

Bottle 500ml @ RBNAG-11
Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, grain, floral and yeast. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is light, texture is thin, carboantion is soft.

lord_totenkopf (314) - Budapest, HUNGARY - NOV 4, 2011
Golden liquid, minimal head. Aroma is alcoholic, a bit fruity and malty. Taste is a bit disappointing, alcoholic and has a kind of sourness. The hops show themselves a little in the aftertaste. Not too easily drinkable, unique aroma though but I won’t be a big fan of this one.

2.1
Palme (4856) - Bergen, NORWAY - OCT 31, 2011
0.5l bottle @ RBNAG11. The first bottle of the evening! Pours a pale golden yellow body, low sidesticking head. Low grainy aroma, some cardboard, a light yeasty tone. Lively carbonation with a thin and weak mouthfeel. Low flavor, thin hints of pale malts and grains. Not a remarkably good beer, but it’s drinkable.
