4/24/2017 (16 fl oz can): Aroma of citrus pith, powdered orange, floral hoppy notes and spicy pepper; cloudy orange color with golden hues and a large, lasting, puffy ivory-colored head; wow, tons of bitterness right up front followed by toffee maltiness and then lots of nice spicy rye through the bitter floral finish, the alcohol is well-hidden; medium body, smooth and subtle carbonation; good overall and quite drinkable, showcases the rye quite well, ample bitterness that seems greater than the 75 IBUs stated on the can. appearance: clear copper brown, creamy medium tan head; subsequent pours unleash a hellscape of floating yeasties. aroma: grassy, citrus nose with some pepper, caramel, tangerine, peach. taste: caramel, toffee, citrus, pine, some rye toast. finish: caramel sweetness, balanced by citrus and grassy hops. notes: Very nice IPA, rye is used well. Tallboy can from Jim N at work. Drake (14109) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 23, 2016
Keg at the brewpub, 8/11/16. Clear copper, large creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of strong rye, grapefruit, caramel malt. The taste is grapefruit, rye, toffee. Medium bodied. Bartzilla (624) - La Mesa, California, USA - APR 28, 2016
Yummy yummy! Smells very fragrant. Pine, citrus, soap. Drinks like orange juice. Almost tastes like it too. Then you get a little rye to round it out. Very tasty IPA from somewhere other than SoCal. Been striking out trying IPAs on the road, but this gets me back into the game. And the game is IPA, my friends. Are YOU in the game? Lowe1983 (1648) - Dayton, Ohio, USA - JAN 31, 2016
Pours a darker amber color with a white head. Aroma is mostly citrus hops with some pine and caramel malts. Flavor is citrus up front with the pine and rye on the finish. Decent bitterness on the finish.

This Rye has a subtle sweetness. Not much hop wise, but still a great flavor profile. One of the better ryes I’ve had. michcam8 (583) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 19, 2015
Pour from the can. Cloudy, dark orange/light amber color, with a small off white head. Aroma of rye, earthy hops, and dark candy. Taste is sweet candy malt, rye, and bitterness. FInish is dry. Below average. Panzuriel (2389) - Westerville, Ohio, USA - OCT 1, 2015
4 pack of 16 oz cans from Jungle Jim’s Eastgate. Warped Wing Flyin’ Rye is a medium copper hazy brew with a nice head of tiny white bubbles. Nose is medium roasted malt with citrus hops. Taste is grapefruit, caramel and a bit bitter. Drier than anticipated and just a bit off tasting. Perhaps it’s the rye aspect. A little disappointing after how much I’ve loved their other brews. drfabulous (8683) - Lexington, Kentucky, USA - AUG 23, 2015
16 ounce can. Big aroma. Pine and rye and a bit malt presence. Pretty decent overall. Jared_Clifton (127) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 1, 2015
Pours amber with white head. Medium body. Initial sweetness, citrus fruits and others. Rye flavors and to finish a piney hoppy flavor. A decent IPA.
