Clear dark black brown color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, raisin, plum, figs - date. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, bread, roasted, chocolate, dark malt. Body is medium to medium full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20160122]

20-FEB-2016, draft @Mikkeller & Friends. Black with a lasting Brown head. Roast, chocolate, even a Little smoke - and is it vague chili? Very dense, very sweet, very nice.

On tap at Warpigs. Pours an opaque black with a small beige head. Sweet with a mellow dryness. Aromas of dark chocolate and caramel. Also aromas of cask wood and light notes of tobacco. Medium to full bodied. Soft carbonation. Bitter finish with more cask wood and tobacco.

Taste is slightly sour-ish dry, sour coffee, grass, minerals, weeds, berry skin, roasted grain, burnt coffee, ashes, dark malts, dark sugar, licorice, alcohol. Medium bitterness, slightly dry and burnt mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Draught at WarPigs. Opaque black liquid with medium tan head. Aroma of licorice, chocolate, biscuit, leather and coffee. Taste is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter with notes of chocolate, coffee, licorice, pumpernickel and leather. Medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Really nice!
