On tap @ Mikkeller Bar. This is a deep orange cloudy looking one and on top, a nice big lasting off-white head that’s leaving some serious curtains and dots down the sides of the glass. This is actually my very first Warpigs beer! Starts off nice with a good sticky heavy hopped aroma. I get pine and grass, lots of bitter zesty peel. It has a mild red fruity sweetness also. All in all quite good, not too over complex on the aroma, but really inviting. It has a thick and syrupy texture in the mouth and it’s almost creamy on the carbonation. Like how it tastes also. Fresh, almost a little too fresh perhaps as it’s somewhat close to yeasty. Alcohol also shines through the sweet malty fruity and orangey flavor this one has. Yeah, not a bad start on my Warpigs tasting adventure. 15.10.2015 daje (4554) - NORWAY - MAY 18, 2016
On tap at Mikkeller & Friends, july 25th 2015. Hazy orange body with a big white head. Aroma of peach, grapefruit and mild pine. Taste of caramel, very hoppy and clean, with a fresh citrussy finish. Hard to believe this is 10% as it feels so much fresher and lightbodied than a strong ipa usually does. Excellent. Vestergaard (2091) - Aarhus C, DENMARK - OCT 26, 2015
