OK, understood, all major breweries have to have their own craft-line these days. But then, please, do it well. Some do some don't - this, to me, is one example no one would be missing out. The combination of flavors didn't appeal to me and I didn't like the aftertaste. In this case, leave the specialities to specialized breweries.

Bottle, 5.2%. Quite malty aroma, dusty. Hazy light copper colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is malty with a medium bitterness. Spicy hop flavour.

ALIBALI (2393) - Kiel, GERMANY - APR 9, 2017
Pappig, unnötig und kaltgehopft!? 😉. Untergäriger Sauermalztrunk der fast unangenehmen Sorte. Extrakt!! Buuuhhh... 0,33l Flasche von Famila Kiel. Zumindest günstig 😀.

Idiosynkrasie (7834) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - APR 4, 2017
330ml bottle. Milky, reddish amber colour with small, creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Mellow malty, minimally nutty and husky aroma, hints of peanut and hazelnut pellicle, cautious fruity hoppy overtones with a touch of red berries. Taste is slightly nuttily malty, hints of peanut and hazelnut pellicle, minimally grassy hoppy overtones; monotonous and rather watery.

FROTHINGSLOSH (8069) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 21, 2017
Sampled on draft at Sharp Edge this beer poured a dark caramel color with a large creamy orange-white head lingered and left excellent lacing. The arkma was sweet artificial grape. The flavor was sweet and yeasty with table sugar and grape soda. Long finish. Medium body. Ok

Draft. Aroma is fruuty almost melony. This is confusing. Tastes like liquid pretzel with watermelon and concord grape juice.

Flaska. Klar orange med ett vitt skum. Dofter och smaker av malt, vitt bröd och med en lätt örtighet.

Grumpelmies (318) - GERMANY - DEC 8, 2016
Bottle. Cloudy orange. Decent head. Aroma: honey, malts and yeast. Taste: honey, malts and a tiny bit of tropical fruits. Finish is sour and yeasty. This beer aims for a modern Kellerbier to get the cool kids back to buying big industry beer but it is just a mess. It’s drinkable alright. Labeling and marketing are embarrassing.

Kristall-König (2820) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - DEC 3, 2016
Geruch nach Karamel mit moderater Hopfennote, etwas grasig. Beginnt recht süß und karamellig. Mitte Karamell und etwas Hopfen. Bittermalziger Abgang. Recht ok.
