Can. Aroma is mineral water rich in iron. Pale yella. Average pils with nice rich classic Hallertau bitterness. Satisfying, but nothing special.

Very pale straw colour. The aroma is light and slightly herbal. A touch of grassiness and a moderate hoppiness. There’s a little bit of light hay flavour in the malt. Very clean finish. It’s not so different from the regular but it’s pleasant enough. Warming intensifies the hop aroma and bitterness.

Can, LDB. Bright golden. Smells like hop extract. Tastes like hop extract, all herbal and no brightness. Heavy pale malts. A bit stale and heavy...not actually that appetizing as a pilsner.

Pours a clear yellow colour with a thin off-white head. Aroma of biscuity malt, with hints of sulfur. Tastes boring but inoffensive. Okay.

500mL can, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out skunky, grassy notes, and toasted biscuity malt. Flavour brings out light grassy hops and dry cereal, biscuity malt. Not exactly hoppy, but it’s clean enough. Meh.

Pours a bright golden color with a big, fluffy white head. Smells of toffee, straw, a coppery note which adds to the sweetness, and a subdued note of herbal and ice bonbon sweet hops. Has a higher carbonation, overly light body, borderline watery, one dimensional as for its malty flavor foundation. Tastes of straw with a metallic note from the lively carbonation, soothed by toffee malts. Turns a tad dry then, while straw and malts take over soon, reestablishing the beer’s easy drinkable sweetness. Boring, not dry as the name indicates, just your average Fernsehbier.

Bottle as Warsteiner Double Hopped, large sample. Clear golden color, short frothy head. Aroma of spicy hop, but herbal, flowery. Soft bitterness in taste, bit herbal again. Decent macro pils.

Pours light yellow gold with a small fizzy white top. Aroma is grassy malts with light hop. Taste is the same. Odd they call this Double Hopped. It’s just a pretty good pilsner. Nothing more.

BeerandBlues2 (14018) - Escondido, California, USA - NOV 14, 2016
Bottle. Pours clear gold with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is heavy skunky, herbal, dank, weedy hops with light sweet grainy Pils malt. Flavor is heavy dank, weedy, woody, skunky hops and moderate bitterness with sweet grainy Pils malt and a dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation. My first impression when the cap loosened and left forth a pfft was that I hoped I do not have a piss test anytime soon.
