Eines der herbsten Biere aus dem Supermarkt. Nichts für Frauen, aber extrem lecker. Wirklich was besonderes, muss man probieren.McSherman (683) - North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - FEB 27, 2015

Good beer, better than the normal Warsteiner. Gutes herbes Pils.................... harrisoni (18578) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - JUN 14, 2013
500ml bottle from some very kind colleagues at work. Pours a clear golden colour with a thickish white head. Good herby hoppy aroma. Yes a decent German pilsner, far more hoppy than usual. Clean body that is a little dull but fine and does its job. The good flowery herby finish is appealing. In fact the whole beer is appealing. Yes the body is a little light and watery, but that is made up for by the hops. Lovely. Skinnyviking (9570) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - AUG 8, 2014
Can. High fluffy lasting white head. Clear light yellow body. Mild malt straw aroma. Mild malt straw flavor with a herbal note. Nicely hopped. Low carbonation. Short finish.

0.5l can from Aldi. Pale yellow colour, clean body. Big head, though not very persistent. Moderate aroma with some grassy, spicy character. Taste is on the bitter side, with hoppy spices. Aftertaste is dominant dry bitterness. Moderate carbonation with silky mouthfeel. A bit more malt would help, but otherwise this is a drinkable pilsener with occasional complex, fresh grassy and spicy moments. kaziopiwosz (393) - Warszawa / Wałbrzych, POLAND - JUN 24, 2013
Very bitter taste, becomes grainy and herb palate with a nute of bitterness. Medium-long finish. Snowy and thick head, stays for very long. Light colour. cazort (565) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 8, 2014
I finally got my hands on this one, in a small grocery in Berlin. Doppelt gehopft! The regular Warsteiner, to me, tastes under-hopped, even relative to other German beers, subdued and not bitter enough, so this one didn’t taste hoppy by US standards (nothing like an IPA or even most APA’s), the level of hops actually tasted more balanced to me. Good, and much better than the default Warsteiner, but I still prefer most German or Czech pilsners to this one. Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JUN 15, 2015

Sample @ DØE. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are straw, grass, malt and hops.
