Draft at Epcot in "Germany". Dark, almost opaque brown with cream colored head. Dark roasted malt aroma. Notes of caramel and chocolate. Taste and aroma grow more intense and improve as it warms.

Average light beer, not disappointing yet, no surprise. Still, worth a try. Block (2688) - Indianapolis, Indiana, USA - MAR 31, 2017
Brown pour, thin head. Aroma of roasted malts. The flavor is similar, roasted malts, a little burnt. Light body. Toasted oat flavor.

330 ml bottle bought at Gorgeous Wine & Cigar in Yuen Long.
Clear amber copper colour; One quarter finger head with soapy white foam which fades in 30 seconds; Good sticky lacing with barely notable slight carbonation; Quite fragrant aroma of malt, with caramel, strong toffee, cardboard, dark fruits, light chocolate, floral, icing sugar, bread and fair grass; Close to light sweet taste of dark malt, with red fruits, light caramel, light toast, floral, very light molasses, biscuits, light lemon, very light bitter hops and grass; Light body. Watery palate; Mouth feel is fair dark maltyness in very thin background. A bit like English Ale with basic red fruityness and light caramel with fair touches of toasts. Floral with light sweetness. Biscuity with very light lemon to round. Fairly good!... Hoppiness is floral and fair grass in nose, same in taste with light lemon; Bitterness is very light for an abrupt, low astringent light toast finish; Fairly dry after taste. Fruity and fairly easy to mouth.
Comments: This one’s aroma suggest a pretty sweet Dunkel, yet the taste is a low-sweet, simple dark lager which taste more like an English Ale than Dunkel. Clean, easy and competent, drinkable but unexciting.
Bottle from Beers of the World. Aroma of barley. Taste is sweet, but thin. mengo81 (36) - - JAN 23, 2017

Poured into a lager glass, the appearance was a ruddy burnt dark amber close to brown color with a thin finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated immediately. Some light stringy lacing glosses along the sides of the glass.
The aroma starts off with a sweet bready to red delicious apples blending upon subtle tones of cocoa powder.
The flavor embraces the bready sweet malts initially and then brings about the apples and cocoa. Nice semi-sticky bready sweet aftertaste yielding to a refined sliding finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Low carbonation. Clean lager smoothness rolls over my tongue.
Overall, an absolutely wonderful Munich Dunkel lager that I would love to have again, preferably with its food. puboflyons (3397) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - SEP 30, 2016
From the 330 ml. bottle with an expiration date of 25 Feb 2017. Handsome chestnut-mahogany brown pour with a tremendous and fluffy tan head. The aroma is very roasted with a vibrant caramel malt, toasted brown bread, and sweet character and a low to no hop profile. The body is light. The taste seems less sweet than the aroma suggests but it ends fairly clean. Easy drinker for the October season.
