big red cup / yellow, fizzy, eventually theres no head... eventually looks like yellow Sprite. a bit sticky in the mouth, slight band-aid, tastes german... and uneventful. sweet, grassy, smeh. i didnt know this is a pils; it just sorta tasted like some german crap.

Golden color. Good fizzy if drunk to the thorn. Adherent foam of good persistence. Cleaned up, fresh and bitter aroma balanced.

This was a good Pilsner. Not good like Pilsner Urquell but descent. This went well with the Franziskaner Hefeweizen on tap. This is much better on tap then out of the bottle.

Billing this as a classic German pilsener just about sums it up. Moderately hoppy, slightly bitter and acidic. Id recommend it as a beer to bring to gatherings.

UPDATED: MAY 10, 2013 full bodied, lots of flavor, light aroma, clean palate, one of my favorite beers. havent had a warsteinier in awhile it started off a bit hoopy with robust flavor, then gave a sweet, creamy smooth finish that is so refreshing. Oh how I missed you!

Nothing to write home about, but not bad. Keep in mind that Ive had a Stella Artois tonight, and this is significantly better. Some hopcit taste and aroma, and a fairlt smooth finish. I wont ever have this again, but Id drink it if it was the only beer available on a desert island.

Pours a straw-like color with a short-lived white head and good carbonation. Has a sweet, grassy aroma. Not very flavorful, balanced but faint malt & hops. Clean, dry finish.

UPDATED: JUL 21, 2006 Well... I will give this one some credit. My brother traditionaly drinks skunky pale lagers, but I got him to try one of these and he enjoys it. At least its a step above heinekin or rolling rock. For me... it does have that slightly skunky aroma and flavor to it. Not particularly delightful.

The flavor is sweet and clean. This bottle wasnt skunky. Just a little bit of corn sweetness.

light in color a dull yellowish tint.. full bright white head w/ ltos of carbonation bubbles. it looked good. The scent was lightly of citrus w/ something almost a bit skunky behind it just dont know quite what it was. The palate had a nice bite of carbonation and started dry but would become creamy as it warmed up a bit in your mouth.. a bit of a bitter after swallow flavor but not strongly. Tasted of light hops and citrus was fairly dry and not overly flavorful in general.. overall it wasnt bad but I wouldnt get it again.
