Warsteiner Gold. Aluminum bottle @Lufhansa flight. Yet another pils and pretty bland at that, very low bitterness, almost nonexistent. Nice aluminum bottle though einherjar (407) - Rijeka, CROATIA - JUL 17, 2017
Pale golden color, medium white head. Aroma malt and hay. Taste malt and grass. knight65 (103) - Dordrecht, NETHERLANDS - JUL 14, 2017
This must be identical to Warsteiner Premium Pilsener. A good pilsener with a fresh taste. KevinReddirt (196) - Midland, Texas, USA - JUL 14, 2017
I bought this .5 liter bottle in Cologne, Germany with no prior experience with the brew. Served ice cold into a short beer glass it comes with an expected clear yellow body and a shortly-surviving white foam. A whiff gives grain and a touch of grass. I find the taste to be a bit different than other pilseners with bread, a hint of lemon and perhaps a very small hoppiness. My imagination? Nothing exceptional but still decent.

Nice golden beer. No head to speak of but a nice refreshing drink. Bottle drunk at home.

Bottled and canned, many times along the years,a few times on tap in Germany.promontor (158) - HUNGARY - JUN 23, 2017
Average industrial pla lager, malt forward, more into the sweet side, lots of DMS, clean, crisp, refreshing and little more to say.
0.5l can from Aldi. Starts with medium head. Moderate aroma, sour bread, later some grassy spicy hints. Foam tastes bittersweet. The body is clear and golden. Taste is also bittersweet and also a little bit sour. Aftertaste is dominantly dry bitter, this is long lasting and nice. Moderate or a bit above carbonation. I have better memories of this beer when it was served on Lufthansa flights. This one is fairly boring, body is a bit thin, lacks maltiness and also spices. Drinkable, but nothing more. Clear golden beer with small white head. Aroma is malty and yeasty like pilsener should be. Taste is low bitter with mild sweetness of malts. Light body. Refreshing beer.
