Bottle, 660ml. Pours translucent yellow/gold with a huge frothy white head and loads of visible carb, large bubbles. Some patchy lacing. Aroma is light bready malt and damp carboard. Very light honey. Somewhat metallic bitterness but no hops other than that. Little bit of earth maybe? Could be worse. Taste is slightly sweet malt leading to a bitter middle and some lingering metallic bitterness in the long, wet finish. Body is light-medium, texture is watery and carbonation is surprisingly soft, but it’s smooth enough. Best I can describe this as is "damp". superspak (5694) - Michigan, USA - FEB 12, 2017
330 ml bottle into lager glass, best before 6/15/2017. Pours fairly crystal clear pale golden/straw color with a 1 finger dense white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Slight fruitiness in the nose, but pretty minimal. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt and earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, light honey, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/spicy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of cracker, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero astringent flavors after the finish. Moderate dryness from bitterness, increasing through the glass. Very clean on lager flavors, with zero yeast notes present. Medium carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth, moderately crisp, and fairly grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is good. A little thin, but not watery feeling. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.8%. Overall this is a good German pilsener style. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt and earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. vlada94 (190) - Nis, SERBIA - FEB 9, 2017

0,5 l butelka. Aromat mało intensywny - słód i chyba trawa. Kolor słomkowy, klarowne. Ladna piana, dosyc obfita, sredniopecherzykowa, szybko znika. W smaku wyraznie wyczuwalna goryczka, ale nie narzucajaca sie. Jak na niemiecki pils - dobre. sirzekel (65) - Georgia, USA - JAN 24, 2017
Yikes! It says premium pilsner. I'm trying to finish it, but am struggling. It's not you, it's me. Just not my type.
