Bottle at Chriso’s 2012 Pre-GBBF Shindig, London. Pours faintly hazy with a sturdy, white foam head. Wheaty nose with moderate yeast and white sugar. Medium sweet flavor, some decent wheat, dough. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Clean finish, more wheat, white sugar. Very basic overall but a nice and drinkable witbier. gnoff (11145) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JAN 8, 2013
50 cl bottle from Doorstep Brew. BB 18/10/13, sampled on January 8, 2013.Grovlam (4257) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - MAR 25, 2007
Slight bit hazy pale golden color, big lasting fluffy white head. Sweet, spicy, fruity, some esters, a bit of phenoles scent. Sweet, apricots, sugary, some citrus, choriander, spicy, fresh taste. Spicy penolic, also sugary, aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel, low bitterness. Refreshing and nice.
Goes a whole lot more to the cloudy side in the end, since I forgot to roll the bottle before the first pour.
Bottle. Huge white fizzy head that was mostly lasting. Excellent lacing. Light cloudy body with an orange hue. Aroma was citrus, fruit, yeast, banana, flowers, wheat, clove, grape, apple, coriander. Medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Flavor was light sweet with some hints of acidic from the citrus notes. Finish was light sweet with an average duration. I thought this was a fairly good Witbier for a Danish brewery. saxo (19583) - Højbjerg, Aarhus, DENMARK - APR 29, 2007
Bottle. Nice big head with good duration. Color is hazy yellow. Aroma and taste are yeast, citrus and hops. Maria (10211) - Thisted, DENMARK - MAY 2, 2007
Golden straw with an amazingly firm and long lasting head. The aroma has notes of banana and wheat and the flavour of banana, citrus, wheat and light sweetness. It has a nice, full body, good balance and it’s quite nice. 1974
