12oz bottle pours with a clear coppery amber body that supports a tan head of foam. The mild aroma offers up some sweet malts, a bit of malt roastiness, faint sweet nuttiness and a sense of sweet fruity esters. The taste starts with a modest degree of roasted malts and then picks up some mild nuttiness and spiced apple. Meh. BK7 (805) - Turner, Oregon, USA - MAY 14, 2013

Not a bad brew when you consider it's 4 percent pretty good brew. Malty with light hop. Nice hop aroma clear with a thin head.

Bottle to snifter (shared with he Mrs.; thanks douglas88). Looks solid; a semi-transparent burnt-orange with thin off-white lacing. Smells of bitter hops and sweet malt. Tastes like it smells, but not as potent, with an average mouthfeel. A decent APA.
