Legend has it Ghostrider roams Utah’s Wasatch Range seeking revenge: “someone” lost his White IPA recipe. Smooth and crisp, it’s made from pale barley and citrusy hops. It’s too good to hide!
Food Pairings: Squirrel over an open fire.

Nice, smooth white IPA. Very mild hoppiness and sweeter side malt make this tasty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy straw color with a tall, fluffy off-white head. Big fresh lemony hops and hints of spice in the nose. Sweet citrus, cloves and, coriander and light caramel. Not as much yeast character as I thought I would find. Finish is mildly citric and bitter. A white IPA, as named. I can’t complain.

Aroma is decent muddled lemon like in a mortar or something. Has okay medium head and a carbonated yellow body. Flavour is okay citrus notes but no layering, and nothing else going on. Kind of watery. It’s rather boring, but reasonably drinkable.

12 oz. can. Freshness date on bottom of can.

Pours a yellow white color. Cloudy. Well carbonated. Huge head, three fingers or more. Long lasting head, slowly reduces to about two fingers, and then to one. I can’t hardly wait to try it. Excellent retention, excellent lacing. Wow!

Aroma is light tangerine, light grapefruit. Light coriander. Light pine. Bread crust.

Taste is light tangerines, light grapefruit. Medium pine. Don’t taste the coriander as much. It’s a little bready, a little bitter. It’s juicy and maybe has some lemongrass. Not so much malt, but balances.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied. Very smooth, very drinkable. Very clean. As far as session IPAs go, this is right at the top. Has a bitter ’snap’ right at the end.

Overall, this is very good. Delicious and light. Drinkable and smooth. It would be nice to see a higher ABV version of this. Yes, I’ll recommend it. I’ll certainly be looking to buy it again!

On tap at Shamrocks, The Irish Nook, in St. Paul, MN., and dispensed to a true pint showing a clear, golden hue, a sudsy layer of white head foam, and a sheet-like coating of lacing. The nose was fruity & some sweetness, with a combination of citrus & pit fruit as peach & orange, with a touch of tropical scent, and light, wit spicing. Medium bodied, with good carbonation, the taste contributed a moderate citrus & rind bitterness that was mildly smoothed by a decent malt backing. A very drinkable IPA that paired well with the bar food, and rocked with the local band, Jiggs Lee & The Brothers Invasion.
