Legend has it Ghostrider roams Utah’s Wasatch Range seeking revenge: “someone” lost his White IPA recipe. Smooth and crisp, it’s made from pale barley and citrusy hops. It’s too good to hide!
Food Pairings: Squirrel over an open fire.

commonshawn (1267) - Minnesota, USA - MAR 20, 2014
Bottle. Hazy unfiltered yellow color. White head. Hoppy aroma with some citrus. Start is strong with resin citrus. Middle is nice, but finish is strange. Slightly sour tang at the end. Interesting and unique, decent but finish is limiting.

NachlamSie (3507) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 9, 2014
Pint at Cedar Creek. Pours very cloudy yellow with a bubbly white head. Aroma is extra lemony with evergeen and some grapefruit. It’s a full bodied, almost sticky beer but is somehow refreshing. Not a ton of esters on this one, considering the style. Just some nice fruity undertones. There is a lot of doughy and wheaty flavor. Finish is bitter, lemony. Pretty nice beer.

AWISLguy (3170) - Wisconsin, USA - FEB 27, 2014
Bottle from Breeze Thru. Pours a very pale yellow with a white head. Aroma has citrus and light pine with some earthy-ness. Taste is of light sweet fruits, lemon zest, some spices and dry grain with some biscuity malts. Light bodied and quite dry. Finishes more bitter than anything else, although not strongly so. Slight sourness so perhaps bottle a bit old? Shrug? Not IPAish, more a wit mixed with something else, and not even for a "white" IPA.

rougeau13 (3080) - Richmond, Texas, USA - FEB 23, 2014
Hazy yellow with a large white frothy head and lots of lacing. Aroma a little mild, but full of citrus, with pine, coriander, and grain. The taste is full of coriander and citrus with some bitterness.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a medium, large bubbled, gradually collapsing, white hean with some foamy lacing, over a cloudy yellow (SRM 3) body.....nose is citrus peel (orange, grapefruit), coriander, light wheat cereal, hints of pine, resin.....taste is hints of citrus, honey sweetness, light citrus peel, wheat, finishing with a mild pine citrus peel bitterness....mouth feel very light of medium, carbonation makes a clean acid finish. This is a light refreshing take on an IPA, with the light citrus tones and clean acid finish dominating. Remember that water is refreshing. It is very similar to a Pinot Grigio in the Italian style, with the addition of hop bitterness. It is unbalanced, and hard to sort out how to make it better. Eliminate the spices? BJCP 7/3/12/4/6

PhatB420 (840) - Pittsfield, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 17, 2014
12oz into a 20oz jekyll and hyde club glass. Pours a cloudy straw haystack like yellow. Head is large, loose body, bubbly, and leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma is very frontal orange spice, orange hop, and orange wheat, drinks like a hefe but with no banana. Hops are viable and frontal, jumping on the nose from the gun. Taste is orange, honey, citrus, hoppy, and more clean orange. Clean and lively carbination leaves a refreshing taste on the tounge, This is farily good, especially for a white ipa. As for the label, you cant judge a book by its cover.

Sammer (1119) - Plano, Texas, USA - FEB 14, 2014
Bottle. Taste is summer wheat, dough, citrus, bread and hops. Solid white IPA.

shrubber85 (11449) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - FEB 5, 2014
Bottle. Orange, wheat malt and orange peel aroma. Cloudy yellow with small head. Lightly sweet orange, wheat malt and mildly bitter lemon peel flavor. Not bad.

ScipioA (405) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 3, 2014
Hazy piss-yellow with a rapidly diminishing head. Big acidic citrus aromas, and some tangy yeast. A little bit of dank hops as well. Really nice flavor, more citrus with tons of orange. Quite sweet but with a piney American hop profile to the aftertaste along with wheat tang. Maybe a little much on the Wit spices though. Smooth drinking like a wheat beer. Overall this is a good example of a style that’s pretty easy to screw up.

Patrickctenchi (6625) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - FEB 2, 2014
Bottle: Pours pale yellow, cloudy, with a small white head. Aroma is lemon...citrus. Taste is grapefruit/lemon peel...dry biscuit. Very crisp and bright...like a hoppy Belgian White. No sweetness...just a focused, sharp citrus. Liked it.
