On tap at Wasatch, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out nothing but jalapeños. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of the peppers and light cereal malt underneath. It’s alright. crossovert (12937) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - JAN 2, 2016
Draft. This one is jalapenoey but not super spicy, just a perpper flavor and then some ale. arminjewell (9676) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - MAR 30, 2015
Pour on tap at Northern Lights Rare Beer Fest, hazy golden pour with white head, aroma brought notes of big pepper, jalapeno, some orange into a bit of yeast, dough, some bready and biscuity notes. Taste was a mix of bread, dough, biscuit into a bit of grain, some peppery notes without the heat, some slight herbal hops, finishing dry. Not bad actually. 3fourths (9347) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - NOV 20, 2010
draft. sparkling gold with a faint haze with a fine-bubbled white head. nose is mild creamy yeast and pulpy chile peppers (bright and zesty, though also somewhat brine-like). up front: medium thin body, mild to medium sweetness. middle: increasing sweetness, mostly pale malt. finish: moderately frothy, mildly sweet pale malt turning to more brine-like pickled peppers with requisite heat. I’m a sucker for chile beer so they don’t have to be well done for me to enjoy their novelty. this one could use some work but in a fix it hits the spot. douglas88 (9194) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 25, 2010
Growler from the Brewer’s Co-op. Pours a clear golden hue with a medium white head. What an interesting nose; huge very distinct jalapenos, very vegetable-like and nice, smells like a pepper plant . The flavor is a creamy malty smooth flavor, but large hot peppers in the finish. Lots of full jalapeno in this; the vegetable smoothness and hot fire spiciness. Massive congrats to Ray and the crew for having the balls to brew this. I’d say the drinkability is not near most due to the heat, but it is well done.

Tap. Pours clear pale Amber, small off white head, decent lacing. Aroma of fresh chili peppers, hint of stale coffee. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus pepper heat, grain. Light body. Pretty one dimensional. Sledutah (7529) - Utah, USA - JUN 28, 2010

Appearance: Poured slightly hazy golden with a small white head and some lacing
Aroma: Wow, fresh jalapeno’s and lots of them. It smelt like I had just cut open a fresh jalapeno and stuck my nose in it
Taste: Creamy mouthfeel of caramel and peppers. After that initial swallow, the slight burn starts to kick in
I wasn’t sure about this, but I really liked it. Just like eating spicy Mexican food, you can’t get enough.
On draft at 1702 in Tucson AZ. Pours a clear gold with a white head. Jalapeño nose. Quite a kick but smooth underneath the heat. kaser (6312) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 6, 2017
Had this on draft at their brewpub in park city. Crazy jaelpeno aroma. Taste is smooth, not very spicy, all jalapeño though. Better than expected dwyerpg (6187) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - MAY 6, 2017
Sometimes I feel bad giving pepper beers these ratings, but not always. This has a very strong jalapeno aroma. The flavor is equally strong in terms of the pepper. Aggressive and lasting, just no release. I style I’ll just never get.
