Overall a very creative brew. It has the wonderful aroma and jalapeño after taste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sometimes I feel bad giving pepper beers these ratings, but not always. This has a very strong jalapeno aroma. The flavor is equally strong in terms of the pepper. Aggressive and lasting, just no release. I style I’ll just never get.

On tap at Cafe Diablo in Torrey, UT. Pours clear gold, with a big, foamy, off-white head and excellent lacing. Light cream on the aroma, with some big, vegetal pepper notes. Some faint notes of hay and caramel. Fairly sweet up front, with a very mild bitterness that lends a bit of balance. Smooth, relatively mild, spicy heat through the finish, but it doesn’t burn nor linger, which is nice. Light body, smooth, lightly bubbly, and clean. This is a solid and fun beer. Jalapeno isn’t my favorite flavor, but they pull it off pretty well.

Draft out of curiosity at the West Side brewery. Clear gold color with bubbly carbonation and just a white ring around the edges. The aroma is chopped, fresh jalapenos. The flavor is pepper with a lingering, light burn. The base beer is lightly sweet. Pretty nice pepper beer to me.

Had this on draft at their brewpub in park city. Crazy jaelpeno aroma. Taste is smooth, not very spicy, all jalapeño though. Better than expected

Tap. Pours clear pale Amber, small off white head, decent lacing. Aroma of fresh chili peppers, hint of stale coffee. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus pepper heat, grain. Light body. Pretty one dimensional.

On tap at Wasatch, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out nothing but jalapeños. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of the peppers and light cereal malt underneath. It’s alright.

Clear dark golden color. Love by he strong green pepper flavor and jalapeno burn. Very strong. Just pepper on the nose. Light base beer that doesn’t get in the way.

[Dec 28 2015] On tap at Snowbird Ski Area. Nice golden body with slight head. Nose is herbs, jalapenos, peppery, floral. Taste is wheaty, bread, peppery. Dry in the finish. Fair enough.

BrewMstr (194) - Pleasant View, Utah, USA - JUN 23, 2016
Draft at strap tank. Very nice though must like some heat. Cream ale upfront with pepper bite at the end. Try this, though maybe in small quantities!
