Pours a dark copper color with a tiny head. Aroma is light pumpkin and spices. The taste is fresh pumpkin pie, nutmeg, cinnamon, lightly sweet malts. This is my favorite pumpkin beer for a reason. It’s cheap, easy to drink, easy to find, and perfectly balanced.

Deep golden orange color, medium off tan head. Nice aroma of mixed spice, cinnamon, nutmeg, maybe ginger. taste is balanced gourd and spice, just enough sweetness. Very tasty.

Hazy amber with a thin foam. This bottle to frosted glass beer smells like pumpkin and allspice. Flavor is pumpkin and spice but not sweet. Medium body. Spice in the finish as well. Needs more malt flavors for me.

Pours a hazy orange color with off-white head. Pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, and malts on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with pumpkin.

Erzengel (9329) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - MAR 13, 2014
Hazy dark golden in the glass, fruity pumpkin nose. The beer starts smooth. In the mainpart comes a spicy and fruity pumpkin to the malty and light body, easy drinkable and nicely spicy. The aftertaste is smooth, spicy pumpkin with smooth yeasty beer.
A great combination! I like this pumpkin brew! --> 14/13/14/14

This was a pumpkin brew that I actually kind of liked. Not too overbearing on the pumpkin. A hint of pumpkin, nutmeg and squash.

Admittedly, pumpkin ales aren’t really my thing. If I’m going to drink one, though, this would be my choice. This one has smooth carbonation and a nice medley of flavors. It has just the right amount of spice. A solid seasonal option from Wasatch.

dresden (1581) - Saskatchewan, CANADA - DEC 30, 2013
Golden orange pour on draft. Strong sweet pumpkin pie aroma - pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon. Taste is pretty standard pumpkin beer but it’s really refreshing and seems to have a slight flavour of graham cracker. Good stuff

From the 12 fl. oz. bottle. Mostly orange amber pour with a short-lived white head. It’s a bit cloudy too. The aroma does have some squash, nutmeg, and maybe some brown sugar. Light to medium body. Not much to the taste. It is vaguely squashy but otherwise bland.

Bottle: Hazy copper-caramel color with a thin sandy head. The little head lasts and lasts, leaving quite a bit of sticky lacing. Nose is modest boquet of spices; most notably cinnamon. Really nice transition into the flavor as it isn’t overly spicey. Good pumpkin presence and I swear I can taste fresh baked crust. Modest, not over the top, but refreshing and overall a quality pumpkin ale.
