Amazing aroma gets your hopes up...smells like a extra spiced pie. But the final verdict is that it's flavor is up front but finishes flat

12 oz bottle to glass; strong aroma mores than most pumpkin beers - aroma was of slight pump king and to me anise/licorice moreso than cloves. nice looking beer - unfiltered honey amber pour. taste was waaaay toooo sweet for me - licorice dominates what could have been a good beer afrueh (49) - Salt Lake City, Utah, USA - SEP 15, 2012
nutmeg, clove, honey, amber, cloudy, minimal head, initial lightly bitter, finish light sweetness, medium body, creamy, average carbonation dnstone (3418) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - AUG 28, 2012
Smells strongly sweet/pumpkin-spiced. Copper in color with an off-white head that settles off fairly quickly. Flavor is sweeter with strong spice characters and hints of pumpkin...reminds a bit of soda, with a slight vanilla finish. jmmjunkmail (10) - Wisconsin, USA - AUG 27, 2012
Nice lighter pumpkin ale. Could have a heavier pumpkin flavor. Overall I like it but it’s not the best pumpkin ale I’ve had.

Clear orange-amber with a small, bubbly, off-white head. Aroma of pumpkin pie, sweet bread, and toast. The taste is full of pumpkin and spice, but not overly so. It’s also subtly bitter at the finish. Light-medium bodied and smooth with a medium dryness. A little buttery feeling. Pretty good holiday session ale. andyhwcinc (1884) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - AUG 19, 2012
Purchased at Breeze Thru Liquors in Milwaukee, WI; enjoyed at home on a lazy Sunday after running 9 miles in the morning. Appearance is a cloudy, vibrant amber with a thin white rim around the glass. Aroma of pumpkin, light vanilla, bit of clove, bit of caramel malt, smells flavorful while also smelling a bit light. Taste is an above average pumpkin ale, pulls off the sweetness pretty well with also adding a light bitterness. It’s not very potent which is not a bad thing, makes it even more session like. Pretty damn good stuff. JPDurden24 (1675) - Chandler, Arizona, USA - AUG 15, 2012
Copper orange pour with cinammon and pumpkin aroma. Taste is pumpkin and some spices with a little cinnamon and nutmeg. One of my favorite pumpkin ales. Wittales (762) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - AUG 10, 2012
Appearance was hazy orange amber with creamy diminishing of white 1 finger head, spotty lacing. Aromas are sweet malts then spicey baked pumpkin pie and slight citrus hops. Taste was sweet malts upfront then the pumpkin and spice flows softly. Palate was smooth light CO2 with light-mdeuim body, average length dryish lemony spicey pumpkin finish. A little light (body) for me... IrishBoy (4200) - Bakersfield, California, USA - FEB 17, 2012
12 oz bottle from Hopper. Nose is nutmeg and cinnamon with some light pumpkin, the spices stand out the most. Clear copper orange with a medium, lightly lacing beige head. Flavor is cinnamon big up front with lots of nutmeg and some pumpkin.
