Oh so watery. I had from a cask at the brewery and it tasted extremely thin. Some nice vanilla aroma, but that's it.

Appearance: Dark brown with a big beige head and good lacing
Aroma: Vanilla, woody and chocolate
Taste: Rousted malts, chocolate, vanilla with a sweetness in the finish
Nice and smooth, I like the vanilla in this porter.
On cask at the brew pub. Aroma has strong woody and vanilla notes. The cask is a little old, some cardboard notes. A touch thin, but very drinkable. A great beer, wish I could get this more often. douglas88 (9572) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 26, 2012

Cask at brew pub on 3-14-12. This was recommended by wait staff when I asked what they had for a seasonal. Beer was a beautiful dark brown with what looked like hints of red to it. Smell was chocolate and vanilla. No carbination, with thin , but velvety mouthfeel. Chocoalte was sweet at first then turn bitter. The vanilla was pleasently in combination with the chocolate. It had a nice malty backbone also. Overall I thought the is a fantastic beer. Brewmaster Matt said this was a Polygamy Porter with vanilla added post fermentation. If you’re in the area, check it out, you won’t regret it.
