COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
No bones about it: our Belgian Style White Ale is thoroughly unique. The zest of orange rides side-saddle with coriander to create a beer that’s perfect for riding the open-range – or lounging in the backyard.

Bottle. A- Cloves, coriander, wheat, eggs, lemon. A- Pale yellow color, hazy liquid, minimal head. T- Coriander, cloves, wheat, spices. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, spiced finish. O- A little light. Then again, I had this bottle sitting around for way to long, so it certainly wasn’t in it’s prime. Lots of spice and wheat on the palate and nose. Otherwise a pretty standard wit.

12 oz bottle
Thanks to Santa for sending this my way. It was not the best beer in the box but overall I was pleasantly surprised. More people should give this a try if it is available outside of Utah.

Aroma / Appearance - A huge foamy head took time to condense into a carbonated golden body which reminded me of banana esters, yeast, and candy sugar. Very sweet on the nose it had a hint of spiciness but not enough to offset the other profiles.

Flavor / Palate - Thin with an unexpected sour bite it filled the mouth with watery banana nut bread. A glaze of sugar like a Krispy Kreme donut came next before the moist finish. Overall it was a decent release but since I don’t know what they were intending exactly I am not sure they succeeded.

Sparky (2244) - Phoenix, Arizona, USA - MAY 16, 2009
Bottle courtesy of douglas88. Pours hazy yellow with a half finger white head. The nose is spicy yeast and sweet wheat. The taste is white pepper, spice and sweet wheat in the finish. Light prickly mouthfeel. Decent stuff – thanks again Douglas!

Pours a very hazey but illuminating golden colour. HEad was HUGE. Way too much carbonation that is a little overwhelming, thus making the quality of this beer a little less in my opinion. Taste was a little spicey and tangy at the same time. Aroma was fruity and yeasty at the same time. Nice beer, but wish it wasn’t so damn carbonated.

travita (5008) - Dallas, Texas, USA - FEB 23, 2010
Bottle thanks to jkwalking05. The look is clear, golden in color, and has a white head. The smell is citrus, wheat, fruits, and spices. The taste is fruits, caramel, wheat, sweet, and peaches.

dionysus (1486) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 25, 2010
Bottle pours hazy yellow-gold with a decent sized white head. Aroma is wheat, lemon, coriander, bubblegum, with additional light notes of banana and yeast. Flavor shows the same. Overall nice interpretation of a belgian wit from a Utah brewer. Who woulda thunk it?

BelgianBeerGal (4246) - Panama City, Florida, USA - JUN 2, 2010
12oz local bottle. Good beer but seems a little outside the normal Belgian witbier class. Maybe a little too much wheat, banana and lemon. Refreshing and a fuller than expected mouthfeel.

Ughsmash (7502) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 20, 2011
Bottled. Poured bright golden with a short-lived white head. The aroma picked up tangy lemon zest, cloves, and coriander over meaty lemon and nondescript pale malts. The flavor found the same lemon and spices as the nose, and they were quite refreshing.. dry pale malts beneath.. very wheaty and yeasty on the dry finish.. tasty! Light-bodied, dry, and tangy on the palate.. good feel and flow.. solid brew.

Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy golden with a small quickly diminishing white head. The aroma is yeast and spice. Medium mouthfeel with a dry wheat and spice with dry finish. A good Wit from wasatch.
