(12oz bottle) Pours a clear amber body with a small cream head. Aroma of nuts, raisins, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, florals, caramel, and light cocoa. Flavor of caramel malt, florals, earth, clove, and cinnamon. jake65 (3627) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - JAN 20, 2010
Bottle: Pours a light amber color with an ample sandy head. Lots of sticky lacing. Nose is sweet, caramel and citrus with light florals. Tastes bold with citrus hops, caramel, and again, light florals. Lingering bitters in the tail. Very well balanced, smooth, and just plain enjoyable.

Thanks superdave! Pours a dark amber color, light head. Aroma smells of nuts and christmas trees with some light spice. Flavor is piney, citrus and floral hops with some roasted malt and light spice. Good stuff. beerdad (397) - Kansas, USA - JAN 16, 2010
botled. pours dark brown with large off white head. Smells of spruce and burnt caramel. Hoppy with flavors similar to the aromas. Finishes with a piney/floral aftertaste. Decent beer. Unibonger (163) - Mount Shasta, California, USA - DEC 28, 2009
Pours a lovely dark amber, nice thick head with decent retention and very fine lacy patterns. Very hoppy on the nose but nothing too powerful, low malt aromas. Begins malty sweet, quickly transitioning to the hop flavors and bitterness and then both mellow out to linger on the tip and sides of the tongue. Thick, syrupy body with medium carbonation.

A sweet caramel malt aroma. Nice brown color. Flavor is only okay. Sweet, caramel, but in a strained way. A dry but untasty finish. This beer disappoints the aroma and appearance. Cloying. machfive55 (358) - Columbia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 22, 2009
Poured dark reddish brown with three fingered head. The aroma was strong piney hop notes. Flavor was strong piney hops and bitterness, very IPA like, surprising that malt does not come through more. Palate was rich with a light carb. Overall malt comes through more and the hops mellow as the beer warms but this is hop dominated at first. TLNash886 (228) - Idaho, USA - NOV 19, 2009
Pours a near-impenetrable reddish-brown into a snifter. Decent amount of off-white head. Aroma of hops, hops, hops, and more hops. Little bit of pine and some floral sweetness. Considering the nose, I was expecting this to be a disappointingly over-hopped brew. Much to my joy, it had a decent amount of malty sweetness to balance it out. Medium carbonation that sits well in your mouth. Surprisingly drinkable with a pleasant sweet floral finish. Not too complex, but surprisingly fairly well balanced. Not too shabby. travita (4993) - Dallas, Texas, USA - NOV 4, 2009
Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. The smell is caramel, sweet, spices, and decent. The look is clear, dark amber, with an off white head. The taste is malts, sweet, and caramel. SphinxTX (2875) - Mata Gorda, Texas, USA - OCT 31, 2009
Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours a deep red/amber with beige head. Aroma of caramel and piney hops, some spiciness. Flavor is the same as aroma. Mouth feel is medium body with high carbonation. Overall, it’s a pretty tasty beer.
