12oz bottle from Gription79. Pours dark rusty brown with small tan head. Aromas of caramel, toffee, spice, and piney hops. Flavors of toffee and caramel malts, bit of earthy spice, and faded hops. This one is probably pasts its prime, but still drinkable. decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - AUG 16, 2011

Date: August 7, 2011 Mode: Draft Source: Freakin Frog, Las Vegas, NV Appearance: Semi-opaque brown with large head and tons of lacing. Aroma: Sweet, caramel and spice. Flavor: Consistent with aroma, medium bodied, slight bitter finish. Other: Tasty brew, but the lacing was amazing. djd07 (15356) - Houston, Texas, USA - JUL 10, 2011
Sampled at Texas Beerfest. Pours a clear amber with a small beige head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is a raisin malt and fruit. Medium mouthfeel with a swet raisin and light hop. Very easy to drink, very good American strong ale from Wasatch. rougeau13 (3158) - Richmond, Texas, USA - JUL 2, 2011
Clear, dark, reddish-amber with a moderate cream colored head that laces nicely. Aroma of piney and herbal hops, nuts, hay and caramel. The taste is a malty, but not really sweet, backbone with a moderate bitterness throughout and a noticable alcohol presence at an abv that isn’t really that high. Medium bodied with a long bitter finish. Somewhat unrefined, but definitely a good beer.

deep copper with a cream head. hops, dried fruits, thick malts, and candied sugar. nice thickness, big hops followed by rich toffee malts, and a smooth finish. cpetrone84 (1810) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 15, 2011
A-pours a dark mahogony colored beer with a very loose small bubbly tan colored head.
S-the nose has some roasted malts, a little overly sweet caramel, very sticky hop resign aroma, pine sap, wood, oily citrus in the back.
T-the taste is similar, slightly burnt wood and malt, overly sweet caramel, very resignous, lots of sugars left behind and it shows in the feel as well. very piney in the back with sticky citrus notes and moderately bitter.
M-the feel is a little fuzzy with the residual sugars, the finish is nice, it is rather dry and crisp, well carbonated.
D-not bad, has some flaws. overly sugary and sweet with a ton of sticky malts and hops. has a decent balance and a nice finish. SudsMcDuff (8468) - .....Manchester United.........., Texas, USA - MAY 10, 2011

Reddish brown pour with a decent amount of off-white head. Diggin’ the aroma - nice balance of citrus/pine hops and caramel malt. Flavor is balanced as well but a bit disappointing - slightly sweet and bitter.
