On tap at the Delafield location. Pours a deep amber with a tan head that dissipates completely. Aroma has sweet grains that are slightly dark with backing light diaceytal note. Flavor has some sweet dark grains with a bit of nuttiness and a hint of buttery popcorn. Skyview (6115) - Papoose Jct, Minnesota, USA - MAY 27, 2012
Sampled during the Wisconsin Craft Beer Festival 2012 in Chilton, Wisconsin. Pours a clear reddish amber colored dunkler bock with a fast dissolving off-white head that dissipates clean with no lacing or ring. Aroma of semi-sweet Munich malt, a hint of floral hops and some mild alcohol. Taste is light to medium bodied, flavors of caramel malt, some light toffee, butterscotch and a touch of floral hops. Finish is sweet, some extra malt flavor with out the body and very minimal bitterness. I have been curious when Water Street Brewery will brew a dunkler bock after 20 years.
