Pours a clear golden color with white head. Cereal grains mostly on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes pretty clean.

On tap @ Water Street Brewery, Grafton, Wisconsin. Medium yellow with white head. Some light lacing on the glass. Lighter body with moderate hops. Easy drinking by itself or with food. Grainy aroma. Probably one of Water Streets better offerings.

Braudog (6805) - Yorktown, Virginia, USA - JUL 14, 2013
Draft at the brewpub. A hazy, hay-colored beer. Delivers a solid, sweet, malty character, reminiscent of some good, clean, sidewalk-served European lagers. (#5145, 7/5/2013)

Enjoyable beer. Pale gold with a slight amber hue. Tastes of pilsner malt and noble hops. Slight residual sweetness. Medium bodied and slightly creamy.

Hophead22 (2879) - Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA - JUL 27, 2012
Sample. Rating #38. Clear golden pour with a sticky white head. Aroma has a light butter note to it. Flavor is similar, there was some nice stuff underneath, but it was hard to get by the butter. (2418)

deyholla (12038) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 6, 2012
On tap at the Delafield location. Pours a clear gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma is mild with musty earthy grains backed by a bit of sweetness. Flavor has a note of wet woof with musty grains and some sweetness in the finish.

DasBierChef (1083) - Hudson, Wisconsin, USA - MAY 14, 2012
A nice easy drinking German lager with some nice flavor, albeit not much of it.

Daicetyl and plastic ridden crap. This isn’t a Helles, just a microbrewery who doesn’t know shit about lager’s attempt at crap.
