Could be waaay hoppier. It isn’t a bad hop flavor but it is a pretty weak brew. Tmoney99 (14501) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 22, 2011
Tap sample. Poured a golden color with an average white head that mostly lasted and produced good lacing. Good balanced aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Good bittersweet flavor with a good bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Worth having twice. StefanSD (2451) - Ouray, Colorado, USA - AUG 15, 2011
Glass at the Grafton brewpub. Pours a nice hazy copper color with a big beige head that had great retention and plenty of lacing. The aroma was soft with lightly roasted grains and some pine. The flavor featured a big piney hop bite (possibly columbus hops) set in a caramel and toffee base. The palate was full and smooth with lively carbonation. Finished long with lingering roasted barley. Overall: A very tasty APA, but a bit heavy heavy on the barley flavor. GJF (1520) - Mount Vernon, Iowa, USA - JUN 2, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. Drinkable but nothing special. Light hop flavor, a little too carbonated and spritzy. tkrjukoff (4335) - SWEDEN - MAY 4, 2011

Street, Milwauke. Pours clear amber with a nice beige head. Aroma is sweet malty, caramel, a bit piny and floral. Flavor is piny, citric, bitter and caramel. Finishes slightly sweet and bitter. Nice and balanced, very drinkable.
Golden amber. Low-grade hop aroma. Flavor is like third runnings of an IPA. Thin. cbfobes (2883) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - NOV 24, 2010
On tap at brewery, pours a clear amber with a thin head and some lacing in the glass, the aroma is nice touches of bittering hops and the flavor has a decent hop kick in the finish, could have been more balanced with the malt, better than most at Water Street though. arminjewell (9676) - East Lansing, Michigan, USA - NOV 10, 2010
Pours hazy yellow/orange with white head, aroma is nice pine, caramel, touch of citrus. Taste up front is bitter pine, leading into sweet citrus and caramel, finishing nice and bitter. Nice surprisingly hoppy pale ale! sneagrams3 (2337) - St. Louis, Missouri, USA - SEP 1, 2010
Tasted 8/15/10. Sampler from the Water Street Brewpub. Filtered with a dark golden hue. Trace ring of head. Aromas of citrus and Froot Loops. Medium bodied with a good malty and toasty body. Somewhat bright hop character. Flavors of orange rind and grapefruit. Balanced, but with an odd flavor. Good effervescence and bitter astringency. There’s an odd bitter tangy flavor that leads to off flavors. Meh... gws57 (1276) - Saint Charles, Illinois, USA - MAR 18, 2010
Had this one on draught at the brewpub in Delafield, Wisconsin. Hazy, dark yellow pour, citrusy hoppy nose and flavor, excellent!
