Handpull cask at the Watermill Inn, Ings. Light gold, clear with the tiniest ring of white head and a bit of lacing. Grain and grapefruit notes and well as some floral touches on the nose. Pleasant sweetish taste, more floral notes, some white grape. Fairly short finish with some bitter citrus peel on the aftertaste. Simple and decent.

jamesie1857 (1989) - Sheffield, South Yorkshire, ENGLAND - JUL 11, 2015
On cask at Watermill, Ings - Pale yellow body, thin white top. Nose was lemon and melon, but struggled to pick anything else out as all I could smell was fresh batch of hops being mashed at the brewery at the back. Refreshing taste, crisp and dry at the end. Not bad.

Tasted this at the Watermill Inn at Ings on 31st August 2014. Cask, handpump dispense. Crystal clear pale straw in colour with a thin white head. Warm yeasty bread notes in the short malty aroma. Thin resiny mouthfeel and superb lacing. Strong fruit notes present in the malt with kiwi, lime and gooseberry to the fore. Dusty floral hop resins impart a light refreshing bitter aftertaste. Finish is very light and fresh with notes of cut grass and lemon oil in the mouth. An excellent session Golden Ale for the warm summer months.
