StueyD (1581) - Heacham, Norfolk, ENGLAND - OCT 30, 2015
A pale Amber coloured beer with a weak white head. A light malty aroma, caramel, toffee and a hint of butterscotch. Medium Dry mouthfeel. The taste is a dry biscuity malt flavour to start, then the sweeter elements come along, with a caramel led taste. There is a mild bitterness in the background that does temper the sweetness. The finish is long an dry. Cask @ 38th. CAMRA Norwich Beer Festival 2015.

Cask at the brewpub. Amber with an off white head. Malt and citrus aroma. The taste is syrupy with citrus and a bitter finish. Slightly soapy. Not too bad for the strength.

Cask at the Southampton Arms on 5th March 2011. Clear copper with thin light grey head. Aroma quite light and fruity. Tangy citrus liquid, with berry fruits and some bitter hoppiness hitting roof of mouth. Fruity and rather sweet-to-acidic aftertaste, leaving lemony citrus lingering.

Cask. A hazy golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of honey as well as lighter notes of straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and honey, leading to a dry and bitter finish where the honey note lingers.

Cask gravity at Colchester BF 2011. Gold clear lasting bubbly whote head. Some malty toffee bit like candy sugar. Its an ok light bitter. Condition is fine but that hard candy toffee flavour is not really my thing. Decent hop sting on finish.
