3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Third of my Single Hop Project Pale Ales by Way Beer. Pours a golden colour with a frothy beige head. Aroma is malt with citrus and tropical fruits. Taste is light sweet and citrusy and fruity leading to a moderate hoppy finish. Nice soft mouth feel. Not bad. The best of the three I’d say. It’s an interesting project but in the end I’d take the regular Pale Ale over each of these three.
Essa sim marcou! APA com aroma matador, cítrico, bastante lupulada. O corpo deixa um pouco a desejar, mas o amargor dessa breja é fantástico. Drinkability idem!

In short: A dank fruity blonde IPA lacking brightness and refreshing qualities. Lubiere (14151) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 2, 2013
How: From a bottle at Montreal Mondial 2013.
The look: Cloudy dirty-blonde body topped by a very small white head.
In long: Nose dank, very dank fruity hops (tropical) along with some cat urine. Medium body with medium carbonation. standard mouthfeel. Taste is honeyed bread, honeyed soft cookies, juicy hops with a tropical fruits flavor lacking brightness. Feels a bit heavy, lack of brightness, not refreshing. Probably the lamest Citra IPA I’ve had. Anyway, enough with this beer rating thing, right now is saturday night and I need to start working on my monday morning hangover.
A haxed amber ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, smooth biscuit malt with floral hops, ok. In mouth, roasted malt with floral hops, ok.
