Maybe a little to much taste from the barrel, but otherwise, much better than I expected. Taste and aroma of raisins, plumbs, dried fruits and some kind of liquer I didn’t understood what it was.

Tap @MBCC2017, Green Session. Clear brown, offwhite head. Coffee and caramel aroma. Watery coffee flavour. Boring and disappointing considering the aroma.

02-MAY-2014, draft @CBC, blue session. Dark, dark brown, no head. Aroma is mostly barrels. Taste is mostly alcohol. There are some barley wine notes under neath but faint. People serving this are far more drunk than I am. Not a good sign.

[email protected] Clear amber color, small white head. Toffee and alcohol in the nose. Medium to full-bodied. Very sweet, a bit boozy in the finish. Easy to drink for this ABV. Apple, light hoppyness.

pentaz (1264) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 11, 2013
Draught @ Mikkeller Bar. Pours clear amber with a off-white minimal head. Aroma is dried fruit, caramel, wood, spice, oxidized, phenols and plenty of booze. Taste is moderate+ sweet and moderate bitter. Body is full texture is oily/sticky, carbonation is near flat. Finishes sweet and warming.

3.5
fiulijn (20806) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 7, 2013
Draught at Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade
Muddy dull amber color with brown hue and no head. Aroma of spirit, it smells a bit like tequila (more agave based than sugar cane based), rum later, and light oak. Strong body, but the mouthfeel is flat and a bit oily; malt flavor, very sweet, with a boozy character, cane sugar spirit; relatively strong bitterness, a bit woody, hint of Marsala wine (therefore lightly oxidized).
If I think of this as a liquor and not as a beer, it’s quite good. But rather cloying in big quantities.

Dedollewaitor (16178) - Odense, DENMARK - OCT 7, 2013
Tap @ Mikkeller Bar. Pours ruby amber with a small off head. Massive woody nose and flavor. Quite boozy. Also sweet caramel and dried fruit. Sweet and sticky.

Nästan lite glöggaktig eller är det gluhwein. Märks tydligt att den är lagrad på fat. ABV döljs inte direkt. Sötman från alkoholen, skulle säga att den är för kraftig. Kanske lite mandel i eftersmaken.

Första intryck: In your face! Mer smakfullt än såhär kan det nog inte bli. Smaken bar toner av sviskon, äpple, mango och alkohol, kroppen är galet stabil och balansen är närvarande.
