On tap at the brewpub. Big foamy pour, looks like a nitro stout. Nice mild roasty flavors that are not overwhelming. Happy olfactory. No CO2 detectable on the buds. Has an overall rosty flavor of mild burnt wet campfire wood with just a tad of bitterness on the finish. Over all good beer experience. BeerVirgin72 (880) - Pickerington, Ohio, USA - MAY 13, 2010
Had on cask at Brews in Granville. Nice roasted aroma of nuts and coffee. Flavor was extremely mild. Much more than I was expecting. Just a slight vanilla cream sweetness but more burnt toast and coffee. Very nice mild stout. satan165 (1020) - River Grove, Illinois, USA - OCT 28, 2009
aroma is extremely decadent chocolate and little else, zero coffee notes to speak of. flavor is big dark berry and huge cocoa. low on java notes. opaque body with filthy mud head. DJMonarch (9179) - Northwich, Cheshire, ENGLAND - AUG 23, 2009

July 17-19, 2008: Weasel Boy Brown Stoat Stout has a decent, but not great aroma. The beer is black with a khaki-colored head. The flavor is comprised of roasted malt, hints of cola, and finishes with coffee. Again, another okay beer...
Draught sample in Athens, Ohio during Ohio Brew Week 2008. Rating #10 for this beer.
Sample at Weasel Boy. Dark brown pour with a medium tan head. Roasty coffee aroma that you’d expect in a dry stout. Malty up front with a full roasty coffee finish. Pretty good for a dry stout. BeerBelcher (972) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 25, 2009
This was a lighter stout than I expected from the description at the brewery, although that makes sense for a dry stout and this was by no means a bad beer. The body of the beer was brilliant even though it was black, which I thought a touch unusual for a stout. Minimal head, and a nice aroma...a touch roasty with some light coffee and toffee notes. Flavor was more of the same. Mouthfeel was dry, which was good. Solid, but didn’t exactly knock my socks off. dalekliz (922) - San Diego, California, USA - JAN 10, 2009
On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark black with a small tan head. Sharp aroma, of burnt toasted malt, dark fruits, chocolate, and coffee. Very sharp taste, of burnt malt, wood, chocolate. Lingering sharpness. Very nice stout. joergen (28102) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 17, 2008
Draught at GABF 2008.
Dark brown coloured with a medium sized beige head.
Roasted aroma of caramel, dried fruits and chocolate.
Roasted flavour of caramel, chocolate and dreid fruits.
Dry roasted finish. Dogbrick (13003) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - SEP 23, 2008
Sample at the brewpub. Pours almost black with a medium and creamy khaki head that diminishes steadily. Patchy lacing on the glass. Roasty aroma with notes of malt and chocolate. Medium-bodied with a pleasant roasted character and flavors of malt, chocolate and coffee. The finish is dry and roasty with a coffee and sweet malt aftertaste. Pretty good overall.
