On tap at Weasel Boy this past weekend.
Pours a nice light orange color with a good white head and some sticky lacing as that falls down. The nose carries a bit of citrus and some light floral hops. Nothing too overpowering. The mouthfeel brings forward a great amount of bitterness, but there isn’t much hop flavor to accompany it. Mostly all about the hops with just a bit of the malt in the background. Light to medium body. Quite good.

Had this on tap about a week ago. Poured a very hazy dark, golden wheat color. Very heavy on hops with a bit of malt to give it balance. This is a very bitter beer. I’m not fond of a beer that stays in your mouth long after you’ve had your last drink. beerguy101 (5360) - Newark, California, USA - OCT 16, 2010
Sampled at GABF on 9/18/2010. This IPA pours a medium gold color from the tap. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is grapefruity, fruity and sweet. A light to medium bodied IPA. The malts are fruity and sweet. The hops are grapefruity. Mild carbonation. It’s a little too unbalanced, way to many hops without a lot of malt sweetness to back it up. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Lyncham (251) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - SEP 30, 2010
1 oz sample at the GABF. Copper color with white lacing. Caramel malt, with a good pine, citrus, grapefruit aroma. Taste does not have the same strong hop characteristics as the aroma. Slight resins with meduim body, stick. Below average for the style. Tmoney99 (14501) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 4, 2010
Draft at Barleys MRAF. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy off-white head that lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy sour citrus hop aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy bitter flavor with a moderate bitter finish of medium to long duration. Very good brew.

On tap at Brew Week in Athens. Deep copper and cloudy. Strong, tall head that laces well. Hops are almost overbearing and drown out the malt heaviness. Leaves a sour finish shigadeyo (3740) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUL 16, 2009

7/12/2009: The aroma of Weasel Boy Dancing Ferret IPA has sugary toffee, tropical fruit hops, and a tinge of butter. This beer has a cloudy orange color with a dense, yet frothy beige-colored head. The flavor contains a mild bitterness comprised of leafy, green/earthy hops and candy citrus. This beer is slightly dry and the bitterness goes on and on through the long fiish. It has a medium-full body with a smooth and creamy texture. Overall this is a respectable IPA that would be reasonably sessionable.
Sample (draught) at The Crystal in Athens, Ohio during Ohio Brew Week 2009. Rating #22 for this beer.
UPDATED: OCT 25, 2009 Sample at Weasel Boy. Cloudy amber pour with a big off-white head. Earthy hop aroma with some malt for balance. More earthy hop in the flavor with some cereal-ish malt. Not bad, but I was expecting more. UPDATED 10/25: Got to try this again yesterday and it must have been a fresher keg because it was way different. More hop character came out with some citrus and the cereal-ish malt wasn’t there. Assuming this is the way the beer was intended, so updating my rating. kuphish (381) - Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA - MAY 30, 2009
Pours a deep copper body with an off-white head. Heavy caramel malt aroma followed up by some bit-time hops - pine, citrus, grapefruit and a bit of resin. Medium, sticky, somewhat creamy body with average carbonation and a bitingly bitter finish. Tasty beer.
