[Cask at GBBF 2005] An orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and so is the flavor. OK. Mads Langtved (2243) - Copenhagen K, DENMARK - NOV 12, 2005
Cask conditioned GBBF 2005:
A lot of citrus in the nose. Quite fullbodied and very hoppy. This is a great ESB. chriso (7586) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 9, 2005
Cask (handpump), GBBF, August 2005 (Day 2). Mid gold colour. The emphasis is, as the name suggests, firmly on the hops (although the commercial description, oddly, describes it as malty, which I did not find to be the case). Very grassy and herbaceous on the nose. Lots of citrus on the palate. Dry and fairly bitter, building in the lingering aftertaste. Well made.

Citrus, floral, lavender, soapy hops balance atop grainy cereal malts in the aroma. Clear golden body with low white head that diminishes slowly to ring. Fairly bitter flavour with floral hop notes and clean malt profile. Sticky body with low carbonation. Cask at GBBF 2005.

Cask (GBBF): Gold with a white head. Mild hop aroma. Refreshing hop bitterness. Clean flavour with a nice citric finish. A little thin but still quite refreshing.

On tap at GBBF 05. Good hoppy Golden - similar to Hellbender. Some sticky hops and a nice blend of sweet and salty. Good drinkable stuff. madsberg (11774) - Søborg, DENMARK - AUG 7, 2005
Cask @ GBBF 2005: Golden coloured. Clear. White head. Sweet, fruity and light hooppy. Has some light cocoanotes. Is medium bodied and is fresh and crisp. Ends on a citric bitterness. Good one. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - AUG 5, 2005
Cask conditioned - handpump - GBBF 2005. A copper coloured beer with some reasonable citric hop on the nose. The taste is nicely lemony hoppy and it has a resonable body. Not as fresh as I like losing it marks. harrisoni (19024) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - AUG 5, 2005

Golden blonde beer. Like the hops on this, but needs a bit more malt and structure to give it a better balance. RichardGretton (4770) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 27, 2005
Pale beer with a very light aroma and a fruity hopped flavour. Overall a refreshing lightly hopped beer.
