Draft taster at the brewery. Pours a cloudy gold with a small white head. Notes of bready and sweet doughy malts, apricot, sugar, florals, and pie crust. Light-medium bodied, with moderate carbonation and a sweet mouthfeel. Good strong Belgian ale. Not complex, but simple and satisfying. rondphoto (4439) - Lakeside Park, Kentucky, USA - FEB 14, 2014
on tap @ Wedge Brewing --- Cloudy dirty gold, thin rim head, no lace. Taste is fizzy caramel malt that adds a good dose of coriander and orange in the palate, moving to a lightly hopped finish. Really good - like Hoegaarden on steroids. Recommended. jtclockwork (16581) - , New Jersey, USA - FEB 12, 2014

On tap. Pours a hazy pale gold with an orange hue and a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has sweet grains and light fruit with a decent Belgian spice note coming through. Flavor is very perfumey with light fruits and sweet grains underlying. BeerandBlues2 (13307) - Escondido, California, USA - FEB 7, 2014

On tap @ Wedge. Pours a murky dark orange appearance with little head. A lot of banana and spice in the nose. A bit tangy. Tangerine, grapefruity flavor. Some bread. Some booze. OK. b3shine (8870) - Indiana, USA - FEB 5, 2014
Draft to taster at Appalachian Vintner. Looks good; a mostly transparent gold with white lacing. Smells solid; Belgian yeast and relates spices with a fairly sweet backbone. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Enjoyable. Dogbones (116) - North Carolina, USA - JAN 22, 2014
Great gobbly. This smells and tastes like banana bread in a glass. Barely there lclear light yellow in the glass! No head and no lacing. I freaking love banana bread. Taste and smell are derived from yeast alone according to Geoff at Appalachian Vintner. Wow! Good sh!t right here ! DiarmaidBHK (4891) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 23, 2013
Draft at brewpub. Pours golden with a white head. A bit of fruit on the nose. A bit of lime in the tongue. There’s also a slight Belgian yeast thing. Finishes clean. Hides its alcohol well. Closer to an Abbey triple than anything Ellen solid but not amazing. drsordr (2658) - Loveland, Ohio, USA - MAR 16, 2013
Draft pour cloudy amber. Nose of floral ester and spice. Taste of the same with initial sweetness and hot alcohol.
