Rating #2498 - 2016.05.04 2.5oz sample at BrewExpo during CBC. Pours a hazy golden with a fairly frothy head. spotty lacing. Aroma is honey, doughy malt, grasses. Palate is noble hop bitterness, very light bodied, almost runny mouthfeel.

Keg pour in Asheville, NC. Aroma is malt, honey and some citrus jam. Taste is a more of a malt-forward citrus IPA. Very drinkable.

UPDATED: JAN 2, 2017 Sample at the taproom. Hazy amber color with a medium thin off-white head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Aroma of herbal hops, roast malt and caramel. Medium body with flavors of grassy hops, earthy malt and fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft at the source. Orangish-copper color, hazy, white head. Aroma of citrus, mango, caramel. Taste is malt, orange zest, caramel, pine notes. Moderately bitter finish.

Draft at the brewery tap during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours hazy amber-gold with a creamy, white head. Bready, with notes of piney hops, ripe orange. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced on the finish, with more ripe citrus fruits, and orange in particular. Good IPA.

Draft at source..golden copper hue, nice 2 finger head, nose is the star of the show here with a solid dank hop presence..however too much malt for my tastes, not a big fan of this

Great brewery. Had this both in can and at brewery. Red hazy pour. Great mouth feel. Nose of hops malt and mild wood. Taste much the same well balanced and love the message on the bottom of the can!

Can. Pours hazy amber. Aroma is grainy malts, faint caramel, some floral notes, and faint orange peel. Flavor is grassy and citrus hop notes with some grainy malt character and faint spice. Medium body.

Sampled on tap at the brewery (5/22/15). Moderate hop aroma, herbal, grassy, and light sweetness. Medium golden-dark amber clear with some haze. Thin lacing head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Nice English style IPA, moderately hopped with biscuit sweetness. Grassy finish and moderate bitter after.
