3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at the brewery. Clear straw color with a small but lasting white head. Grass, hay, and pilsner malt evident on the aroma. Subtle but nice. The flavor has a crisp malt base and noble hops adding a medium bitterness level and some floral and grassy flavors. Great despite its simplicity. Medium-light bodied, crisp, and well carbonated. Some breweries make their pilsner an afterthought. Wedge does not. This is a legit and drinkable brew.
Half pour with pizza. Pretty decent Pilsner- about what I would expect from Wegde. Good for style, but nothing amazing. Pours straw yellow and drinks crisp and clean. Nice sunny afternoon brew. Straw and malt dominate upfront- but decently hoppy at the end. Slightlyl floral. Good. Cybercat (5838) - Georgia, USA - MAY 23, 2015
Pours clear golden with a nice ivory head. Crisp aroma is malty and a little fruity, not strong but still inviting a taste. Crisp, malty flavor is very refreshing - will definitely take the edge off a sweltering day. Subtle hoppy and pear notes peep through. Mouthfeel is fairly fizzy, and former than most pilses I have tried. Worth the price, Julian. ttutony (920) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 4, 2015
Pale yellow. Great noble hop aroma. Really well balanced. Nice Pilsner malt and noble hop flavors. Well done. wedgie9 (2702) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - FEB 12, 2015
Tasted on 7/28/12 on draft at the brewpub with Erika. Pours hazy dark yellow with an average white head that leaves thin lace. The nose is bread malt with some spicy resin hops. The flavor is much the same with the hops showing nicely bitter and some light bread malt playing backbone. The body is light with average carbonation and a long spicy and quite bitter hops finish. wnoble (1251) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - FEB 19, 2014
On tap at the source. Brewer indicated that this brew in decoction mashed. Poured pale golden and clear with some white head. Sweet pils malt aroma with an evident amount of sweet floral and very light spicy hop profile. medium body and really nice. full bodied sweet pils that seems like a bohemian variety to me. full malt flavor and medium bitterness. super tasty.

Tap @ brewery. Yellow with thin dissipating head. Lots oh honey on the nose. A little on the sour side (honey sour not sour sour). Dry. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - SEP 1, 2012
Draft in a flight at the brewpub. Pours a golden color with a small head. I found that this had a little skunky smell like a lot of lagers do. Very crisp, though, and made for a pleasant tasting on a very warm day. Drake (13739) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 26, 2012
Draft at the brewery. Pours a slighty hazy golden color with a medium sized white creamy head. Decent head retention. Aroma of grass, cereal grains... almost husky... sweet finish. The taste is grass, green apple and a sweet grainy finish. Well balanced and refreshing. Medium bodied.
