Leighton (21299) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 30, 2016
Draft at the brewery tap during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours dark brown with a creamy, tan head. Ashy character, with notes of tobacco, dry chocolate. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes somewhat dry, with further bittersweet chocolate, more ash and spent tobacco. Pretty good stuff.

bubbleflubber (2227) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - APR 12, 2013
On tap at The Wedge, this pours a deep black with a huge creamy tan head that leaves thick lacing. The nose is of deep chocolates and light roasts. Flavors are of deep roasted dark chocolate, and finishes with a milk chocolate creaminess. The nitro pour makes for a full, smooth, creamy body. Great oatmeal stout! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Draft opaque black with tan highlights. Coffee and roast nose. Smooth mouthfeel from the nitro. Taste coffee, dark cherry, and roast.

Shag (3001) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - JAN 31, 2013
Pitch black with a tan head. Aroma contains some chocolate, coffee, and cookie dough. The flavor is well balanced with coffee notes for the bitter and chocolate and oatmeal for the sweet. After is bitter. Overall excellent on this cold day.

jbruner (4747) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - JAN 30, 2013
Pours an opaque black on tap with fluffy tan head and good lacing on the way down. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, and dark chocolate. Taste follows with a smooth mouth from the oats and a creamy finish. Fantastically done and easy to drink. Wedge has something going here, they need to distribute.

Kinz (3786) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - JAN 19, 2013
Beer #19 Asheville trip. Poured black. Aroma is coffee and chocolate. Flavor is a dead on match, rich, creamy, delicious. Hops balance with bitterness only. Very well made beer, one of the best on the trip I think.

DiarmaidBHK (4924) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 20, 2012
Draft at Wedge. Pours black with a half inch of thick khaki foam. Slight chocolate nite on the tongue. There’s some slickness on the mouthfeel which I always like to see in this style. Dark chocolate on the tongue. There’s some hoppiness in the finish to clean up the afters. Nice!

4.1
coolpop (1394) - Birmingham, Alabama, USA - APR 1, 2012
Draft at the brewery. Poured very dark with a medium-sized tan head. Aroma and flavor were roasted malt, chocolate, some coffee. Low bitterness, mildly sweet. Flavorful but not overpowering. A wonderful sessionable stout. Velvety mouthfeel.
