American Style Pale Ale. Canadian Pale Malt and a portion of Rye malt with some very light crystal. Cascade hops are used throughout for a clean but slightly fruity finish.

Draft at the source during RBWG. This one is pale, floral bitter. Tasty enough, easy start to the tasting.

Keg @ Wedge. Gold pour with a small white head. Pretty mellow and unassuming nose. Honeyed grassy meadow, a bit of pear and cantaloupe. The taste is similar. Moderate bristle of herbal hops. General green biomass. Soft honeyed fruit. Light and easy to drink. Solid effort.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. The aroma and flavor have mild citrus, floral notes, pale malts, mild bitterness, not very exciting, but nothing really bad to this one.

Taster at the brewery. Pours a clear gold color with a small white ring for a head. Very clean- fresh, hoppy, and light. Florals, citrus, pale malts, and straw. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation. Good pale ale, would be nice on a warm day. Guess I liked this a lot more than others did.

on tap @ Wedge Brewing --- Clear, light amber, vthick rim head, wide bands of lace. Taste is watery malt with a quick, but light infusion of hops. All moves to a finish that is mostly slightly sour carbonation. Thin, uninteresting, not a keeper.

jtclockwork (17604) - , New Jersey, USA - FEB 12, 2014
Draft at brewery. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose and taste of lemon cake, light malt and apple. Lighter medium body.

On tap with Breau. Pours a bit hazy golden appearance with a white head. Lightly toasted malt, lemon, herbal aroma. Light veggie / chalky flour flavor. Dry. Eh

A good pale ale this place was packed. Obviously one of.the better spots in Asheville. Great outdoor atmosphere.

UPDATED: JUN 18, 2015 really easy to drink if not all that interesting. much prefer the iron rail but this is well balanced with some interest in the finish. pours a bit lighter than my "ideal" apa and somewhat hazy. taste is refreshing- guess I was expecting more with canadian malt being involved........Not bad, not great 6/18/15 Way better than I remember. Nice citrus at the end and super crisp. Still drinks on the lighter side, but perfect for summer. Pitcher went down easily.

Beer #21 Asheville trip. Pale orange, slight haze. Nice aroma, grapefruit, slight pine, touch of biscuit malt. Flavor is a match. A very well done APA. Bit of a spicy note comes through as it warms - I now see that it used some rye, so that might explain this. Really liked this.
