Got to try this at PPRBSG09. Pours a goldish orange in color. Aroma consists of some barnyard, grass funk , and earthiness along with bread. Flavor is somewhat floral with citrus, spice, honey and pineapple. Pineapple seems to really stand out in my opinion. yobdoog (1888) - Kingston, New York, USA - JUN 11, 2009

Thanks to beastiefan2k for sharing this at Peter’s NY gathering - I love me some saison, but this one is underwhelming - nose of summery spices and tropical fruits - semi-tart citrus character up front, followed by a honey sweetness that is far too strong - finishes with bitter herbs and another attack of citric/acidic tartness - meh. Bottle: Nothing super here. Pours golden with a wispy white head. Sweet doughy aroma- notes of honey and some vague bread crust. Sweet flavor. Not nearly dry enough for the style. Honey/herbal notes with a touch of chamomile. Not much depth. Forgettable. j12601 (13094) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAY 31, 2009
