Bottle at the ’09 Fish Fry. Pours light orange with whitish head, slowly-rising bubbles, and some winelike legs; I can tell it is sweeter than standard just by looking at it. The aroma is tangerine, some lemon zest, salt, a hint of wildflower honey, and some vinous notes. The flavor is very fruity, with some melon, honey, sage, and slight hops. A strong lime taste comes out as it gets warm. Over-the-top, but good. As sweet as it is, I’m not sure I could call it a saison. decaturstevo (6343) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - MAY 10, 2009
Aroma of apple, butter, and yeast from a slightly hazed gold pour with creamy white head and lace. A barnyard burlap/straw like earthy flavor with a sweet almost cloying finish. A little thin and watery but ok. Rciesla (5498) - Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA - MAY 31, 2009
PPRBSG09. Shared by Eugene i believe, thanks for the hug. Pours a golden body with a white head. Dry earth y bread y notes with a subdued citrus and spiciness. Spruce and more earth y tones. not bad. illinismitty (2377) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 12, 2009
Bottle at Springslicker’s house. Pours a hazy amber with a dissipating rocky head. Aroma of sweet wheaty malts, burlap, and hay. Lighter side of medium bodied with nice natural mouthfeel. Flavor of toffee, wheat, fruity phenols, and butter. Almost Biere de Garde like. There was something odd (not in a bad way) about this that I can’t pinpoint. Oh well, it’s worth trying. aracauna (3742) - Georgia, USA - JUN 7, 2011

On tap at The Wedge. Orange crystal pour with a fully diminished foam cap. Everything about this brew screams "Orange". The nose is of candied orange and meddling citrus. Flavors are sweet, citric and of multiple levels of oranges... natural and candied. Full of fizzy carbonation, it closes the finish nicely with a grainy bitter. An active mouthfeel and light body ensue. Nice take on the style. Thoroughly enjoyable!

Belgium style all that has a very citrus finish. Light golden complexion with limited carbonation makes for a decent beer sipping experience. Beer has a very complicated taste structure ... At times you can taste orange and lemon but at other times you can taste the hops. Very unique beer that is a tribute to the art of Belgian brewing.

Bottle. Pours orange with off white head. Aroma of honey and citrus. Taste is sweet with honey and pears. Decent. PilsnerPeter (3049) - Flushing, New York, USA - JUN 1, 2009
Bottle: Nothing super here. Pours golden with a wispy white head. Sweet doughy aroma- notes of honey and some vague bread crust. Sweet flavor. Not nearly dry enough for the style. Honey/herbal notes with a touch of chamomile. Not much depth. Forgettable.
