I had this one on the outer banks. It is full bodied and pours a nice amber. It is very drinkable and smooth. Nice taste. I would certainly have it again. Birdiebeagle (958) - Perkasie, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 10, 2009
Bottle Pours a clear amber with a decent of white head. The heads has average lasting. Lacing is okay. Aroma was subtle with hints of floral hops and spices, Had a good carbonation. The flavor was drinkable but not very deep. Has a good mouthfeel. The texture is watery. Has an okay finish with a easy aftertaste. Refreshing and drinkable but not real memorable. A very fine OBX beach beer. 7/2002 - had it on tap at Corrolla and Manteo, in the bottle, and from a freshly filled mini-keg (in other words, we really overdid it with the fest last week!). Thin amber body. 1/4 inch head. Thin, sweet and very lightly roasted taste. faintly bitter at the end. Just a nice light chuggable beer. Admiral (524) - Schnecksville, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 7, 2002

Not a bad beer. This has a good balance and color. Not quite the acomplishment that their "Dark Radish" but a well made beer just the same. bubbleflubber (2244) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - AUG 31, 2004
UPDATED: MAY 29, 2006 A good session beer. Healty carbonation with a large head. Nice caramel aroma. Copper in the mouth with caramel malt and fruit hues. Dry, thin finish. Not extremely complex, but decent for Oktoberfest! egajdzis (6830) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 20, 2004
Poured a hazy orange copper color with a small off white head and very light lacing on the glass. Sweet and malty, nutty aroma. Taste also was sweet malt, more caramel and nuts, and light carbonation. DocLock (11189) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 25, 2005
