This has got to be about the best maibock I've had yet. Deep gold/red color, huge head, excellent lacing. Very smooth, creamy and flavorful body, lots of bready malt, some caramel. Finish was great - still some sweetness, but also a little hop, and - very interesting - toasted nuttiness. Lisa liked it so much, she stole half of it and made me drink the rest of her Corolla Gold.

UPDATED: MAY 29, 2006 Boisterous malt contingency on this one, backed with slight bitterness. Pours deep brick orange into the glass, with a little head and lacing to match. Malty aromas. Some fruity notes with lots of malt. Nice, full-bodied mouthfeel, with a roasted finish, indicative of style. Always been one of my faves of the Radish clan.

On tap at trio in the outer banks it is an amber color with a slight head. The aroma is indistinguishable. The taste is thin with no outstanding flavor maybe some caramel

1/2L bottle from the brewery. Clear dark golden amber with rocky white head that persists. Aroma of caramel malts, some fruityness, and nobel hops. Malt accentuated flavor with some spicey hops to back up. Medium mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation. Finish is malt sweeetness with moderate hop bitterness. Very Nice.

quite suprised with this one. Pours out a clear brown color with a smaller tan head. aroma was malty with a nice touch of sweetness to it. flavor was full of malt and caramel with a slightly fruity finish. this brew over all was very nice.

Medium hazy orange color - thin head. Aroma is lightly sweet with a hint of spice. FLavor is also sweet, but with a pleasant citrusy hop twang. Nice malty backbone throught and clean finish.

Pours a hazy copper-orange with a thick frothy white head. Head slowly fades leaving plenty of lacing. The aroma is reserved, fruity with slight malt and yeast smells. The taste is sweet malt with some sourness, hints of pepper. There is some lingering hop bitterness in the aftertaste. Pleasant but not outstanding.

Orange brown color with a modest head and lacing. Sweet malt flavor a few hops at the end. Enjoyable

Dark brew with a aroma of hops and malt. Very fruity with hops and malts to accompany the taste. Good finish.. too bad NC has a ABV law....good beer
