0,33L bottle in on bar in Subotica. Dark brown color, little creamy head. Aroma of roasted malts. Caramel and roasted malts tones in flavor. Nice bitter finish. trevor211 (1681) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 22, 2011
Thanks to luttonm for bringing this one home from the Balkans for me -- always fun to try crazy things I’d never find myself. Pours a deep brown, with a tan head. Smells like an odd blend of a decent porter with a cheap Latin American lager. This is really strangely drinkable. Sort of refreshing, in a way. It still has tinny overtones of cheap lager, but has a few other things bouncing around (roasty malts, a bit of grape) and a lively carbonation that keep it interesting. I’m not sure what the "ideal rate of thickness" is, and I’m not sure this would qualify as ideal anything, but it’s far more intriguing that I expected, and I’m actually enjoying it. luttonm (6749) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 28, 2010
Really pleased and surprised to see some .33l fresh bottles of this show up at a mega market (Super Vera) in Belgrade. Easily the best beer from the Balkans that I’ve found. Robust, sweet and flavorful. Up front and throughout the main weakness is an alkaline-metallic note. Darkest brown-black pour, little bubbly mocha head. Light smoke, low roast coffee beans, chocolate. Sweet and dessert like, milder carbonation. Bit of an alc bite, which is a nice touch. Really lovely, I hope this is stays around. On draught along the Knez Mihailova pedestrian walkway street in Belgrade. Poured an opaque brown with a very thick tan head. Medium-bodied, with a full mouthfeel and even flavor balance. Clean chocolate character amongst dark malt flavors. Late slightly sweet notes. A welcome change from the local light lagers.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2007 The best widely available Serbian beer if you’re not into drinking pale lagers and pilseners every day.Nice black color, lasting head, with great chocolate and coffee aromas.A bit too thin, though. ogivlado (8097) - Zagreb, CROATIA - SEP 10, 2006
Draught at the Belgrade Beer Fest 2006. -The best beer that I’ve had on BBF 2006, though it was served in plastic glass. Deep black coloured, small cappuccino like head, slight coffee nose. Aroma of black chocolate , nutts and toffee. Pleasant chocolate finish and nice strong bitter aftertaste.
