The first sip of this amber-orange-coloured Kellerbier reveals a touch of caramel. Its fresh and fruity aroma is owed to the chosen hops and accompanied by a pleasant bitterness. In combination with a well-balanced malt body this wonderfully mild and smooth beer was created to please both, your tongue and mind. The hops chosen are the rare sort “Hallertauer Record” for bittering and "Hallertauer Perle" as well as “Hallertauer Mittelfrüh” for aroma.

Tap at the brastuberl, dark gold to bright orange color, hazed, fizzy, big white head. Aroma of pale malts, starchy yeast and herb, grass, white bread, light floral aftertaste, bittering hops. Medium body, classic taste overall for the style. Doughy and floral finish, smooth, taste is light bitter.

500 ml bottle. Pours cloudy vibrant orange, medium foamy head. Grapefruit and other citrus fruits, bread, a bit hay. Bitter and slightly sour. Soft carbonated, medium bodied. Creamy mouthfeel. Bitter finish. Overall quite bitter Kellerbier. Bottle says best before 18/03/18, but seems to be not very fresh or bad batch..

Deze kunnen proeven op restaurant in Düsseldorf 09 juli 2017. Bijna helder goudblond met grote witte schuimkraag. Aroma: pilsachtig, mout, wat honing ?, tikje karamel. Medium body. Smaak: zoet, granig, honing en karamel komen hier terug, lichtjes bitter.

From notes of more than a year ago, tasted at the brewery in Freising. I remember that I wanted more bitter bite out of it, but as everything from Weihenstephaner it was an attractive and expertly made thing, if subtle. Light acidity and spicy bitternes, edged with rich caramel malt but staying just off-dry. Faintly hazed, subtle herbal citrus aroma.

Draught @ Braustuberl Weihenstephan, Freising. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Aroma of malt, yeast, white bread, grassy hops. Flavor is light sweet, malty, grain, bread, grassy hops. Medium body, average carbonation, light sweet finish. Nice and very easy to drink. 300717
