Bottle. Pours off-gold, with a nice fluffy head. Aroma is bready, slightly sweet, hint of malt and fruit character. Mouthfeel is medium in fullness, with a semi-long finish. Pours pale gold with a large fading head.
Nose shows grassy hops with faint spicy notes along with tempting bready malt.
Flavours show a little of the above hops with some bready, almost grainy, malt in the background.
Nice low carbonation and moderately-light body. brokensail (16449) - Dublin, California, USA - APR 30, 2010
A: The pour is a slightly cloudy, yellow pour with a short lived white head.
S: The nose is bready and biscuity with a slight spiciness and some lightly floral and citrusy hops.
T: There’s plenty of spicy and sweet orange hop flavor. The malt provides a bit of bready flavor and substance, though the beer is fairly light.
M: The body is quite light on the tongue with a bubbly carbonation.
D: I don’t think Weihenstephaner makes a bad beer, and this one follows that trend. A nice light beer with some pleasant flavor. mabel (9246) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - MAR 15, 2010
[2739-20100130] 500mL bottle. Straw yeast aroma is a little odd. Clear, light orange yellow body with a quick foamy white head. Metallic straw yeast flavour has a bitter malt aftertaste. Light-medium body. Not great.

cloudy pale pour with a large bit of carbonation. Almost zero head on this beer and tastes a bit like malted barley. Aroma is light but noticeable with a bit of a hoppy smell.

Bottle. Light gold body with a small, fizzy white head, mostly diminishing. The aroma is grassy with notes of toasted and raw grain, bread, flowers, honey. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Clean, moderately sweetened with a crisp finish. Well made. weitz15 (581) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 14, 2010
Not bad. his beer starts out with a bitter (not hoppy) taste followed by a smooth, mahogany finish. Not much else. Barrios (1243) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - JAN 4, 2010
Pours a lasting white head with a golden body. Aromas of grass, earth, and yeast. Flavors of grassy hops, toffee, clean, yeast. FInish is dry. MeadMe (1661) - Fishhawk, Florida, USA - DEC 20, 2009
A: Pours a light golden yellow color with a medium head.
S: No real malt aroma. A bit of hops noted with a bit of citrus.
T: Yeah, it’s no Oktoberfest brew. More hop than malt. Citrus is noted above and beyond all else. There is a bit of malt sweetness in the background but not up front where I want it should be.
M: Medium bodied and very sparkling for a fest brew.
