A full rich bodied, hoppy, seasonal lager. Especially brewed for the Festbier season. This beer truly represents the Bavarian way of celebrating. Deep gold color, great mouthfeel and lots of flavor. Prost!

Smells like pond water after a fish kill, doesn't taste much better. Quite disappointed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Red Star. Malt, pumpkin or carrot bread, hop, fall spices and vanilla. Smooth body. Not the best fest but it's chuggable.

Bottle from beer[malade]. Light golden color with médium white head. Aróma of malt, light hops. Taste tej same.

TEJA (3131) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - SEP 15, 2017
Bottle from Systembolaget, Sweden. Medium lasting white head. Clear solid yellow color. Malty and hoppy aroma but also a tuch of diacethyl. Big bitterness balanced by a robust pilsner malt base that gives a firm body.

UPDATED: SEP 15, 2017 I actually didn't think it was as bad as advertised. It's an Oktoberfest Märzen style lager. It's got some fall like maltyness that's nice with a little bit of hop spice. It's not great, but it's not that bad either.

Very below average beer, has an unsavory finish. Doesn't satisfy that urge you want from an Oktoberfest ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle pours a clear pale golden with a large white head. Grassy dry hop aroma with malt and lager yeast. Taste of bready sweet malt with light hops and lager yeast. Very drinkable.

Bottle from Merchants. Aroma is sweet, fruity, metallic, slight skunk, earthy hop, eh. Appearance is golden, off white head, clear. Taste is earthy hop, wheat, bitter, metallic, fruity, harsh, somewhat unpleasant. Mouthfeel is light body, light crisp carbonation, bitter metallic aftertaste. Overall, I prefer amber Festbier, this one just tastes like a bad pilsner.

Bottle. Clear golden. Big fluffy white head. Bready aroma with grass and some grains. Taste is clean and fairly crisp with some malty bready sweetness and a grassy bitter finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation and texture. Decent amount of hops present. Clean and soft. I like it! Far better than many of the big classic ones.

On tap at The Beer Cellar in Glen Ellyn, IL., and dispensed to a snifter displaying a clear & bright, golden color, a frothy & persistent layer of soft white foam, with wavy cling to the lacing. The nose presented a light lager scent, with soft grain that was wheat-like, and light hints of corn, sweetness, and subtle lemon. The taste was similar, light to medium bodied, with good carbonation, a touch of dryness, and texture that thinned a bit. More across the board as a light Vienna Lager.

Kind of fizzy. Bottle. Jug Shop, SF. Not great. Caramel malts. There are better options.
